1. Service Description

Postar provides a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows users to upload, schedule, and automate the publishing of short-form video content to supported third-party social media platforms. The platform provides scheduling and automation tools exclusively.

We do not create, review, edit, or moderate any form of content uploaded by our users. Furthermore, while our platform is designed to automate publishing, we do not guarantee the successful publishing of any content, as this heavily relies on the availability, policies, and technical responsiveness of third-party platforms.

2. Eligibility

To use our platform, you must be at least 18 years of age. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract. Furthermore, you must possess the full, legal authority and administrative rights over any third-party social media accounts you connect to our platform.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials (email and password) confidential and secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if we detect a security breach, unauthorized access, or a violation of these Terms.

4. User Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of all video content and intellectual property you upload to the platform. By uploading content, you confirm that you hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to publish that content. You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

5. Authorization to Publish

By connecting your social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube) to our platform via OAuth, you authorize us to publish your scheduled content to those accounts on your behalf, at the dates and times you specify.

6. Third-Party Platforms Disclaimer

Our platform relies on APIs provided by third-party social media platforms. We are not responsible for:

• Account bans, shadow-bans, or suspensions imposed by third-party platforms.
• API failures, rate limiting, or outages caused by the social media platform.
• Changes to third-party terms of service, policies, or content distribution rules.
• Loss of followers, reach, engagement, or revenue resulting from any of the above.

7. Payment & Subscriptions

We offer free and paid subscription plans. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles all payment processing, transaction security, customer service inquiries, and returns on our behalf in accordance with industry standards. Postar does not store your raw credit card or banking information on its servers.

Subscriptions are billed in USD. Depending on your location, local taxes or duties may be applied at checkout by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.

8. Refund Policy

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date directly from your account dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

• Monthly plans (Creator / Pro): Eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the charge date, provided fewer than 5 posts have been scheduled during that period.
• Annual plans: Eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date, with no usage conditions applied.
• Technical Defects: Refunds are guaranteed in cases of persistent technical issues or material defects preventing access to features as described, regardless of the standard refund window. If you experience a verified technical defect, please contact us first at support@postar.blog to attempt a resolution. If the issue is unresolved, you may escalate to Paddle for a refund.

How to Request a Refund: All refund requests should be directed to Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. You can request a refund directly by clicking the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your transaction confirmation email, or by visiting paddle.net and selecting "Request refund".

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle within 14 days of approval, using the original payment method where possible.

Chargebacks and Disputes: We encourage you to contact Paddle support or Postar support before raising a chargeback with your bank. Initiating a chargeback may result in the temporary suspension of your Postar account and product access.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postar and its officers, directors, and employees are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, but is not limited to, lost profits, lost followers, platform suspensions, reputational damage, business interruption, or data loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

10. Termination

We may suspend, terminate, or restrict your access to the platform without prior notice if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or engaged in unlawful conduct.

11. Changes to Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or functionality of the platform at any time without prior notice or liability to you.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with internationally recognized principles of commercial contract law. The parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any formal legal proceeding.
